The hunter cannot see. Every footstep, whisper, and knocked-over bottle paints the dark white around him. You can see him coming. He can only hear you.
Blind Man's Buff is an asymmetric online party game of hide-and-seek for 4-8 players. One hunter is blind. Everyone else is tiny, visible, and loud if they move.
About the game
One player is the hunter. Their world is pitch black until sound happens: a footstep lights the floor, a bottle smash lights a room, a voice bloom gives you away. Hiders see normally, at a fraction of the hunter's size. They can always see him. He cannot see them — unless they make a noise.
Speak and you glow. Stay silent and you vanish. The hunter gets a handful of bullets and one sonar snap: a frozen white outline of the room. Miss, and the dark comes back.
You can play a full round with friends on Steam, or hunt bots alone. A guided tutorial teaches the rules in minutes.
Features
• Sound-as-sight: noise becomes light. Silence is camouflage.
• Asymmetric roles: a blind hunter versus tiny hiders who can see him.
• Proximity voice chat: talking is a mechanic, not just a social extra.
• Ghosts stay in the round: die, then watch, haunt, and wait for the next hunt.
• Solo with bots if your lobby is empty.
• Multiple maps and game modes, including tournament-style scoring.
How a round feels
Hiders scatter. Radios go quiet one by one. The hunter snaps his fingers and the room draws itself in white lines. Someone laughs on voice chat — and a halo blooms in the dark.
This is hide-and-seek where the seeker is blind, and the hiders are never as quiet as they think.
