A Classic JRPG Reimagined

Valley of Rain is a turn-based JRPG inspired by the golden age of 16-bit adventures. Set out with Aerin from her quiet seaside home and venture into a mysterious valley filled with forgotten ruins, strange creatures, ancient magic, and secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Master the Art of Turn-Based Combat

Take your time, study your enemies, and choose your actions carefully. Build your own strategy by making use of your characters' abilities, exploiting enemy weaknesses, and unleashing powerful skills at the right moment. Equip Rainstones to alter your weapon's properties and unlock new possibilities in battle.
Simply choosing "Attack" won't always be enough — every battle gives you the opportunity to experiment with your party and find the strategy that works best for you.

Explore a World Full of Secrets

Travel through forests, forgotten ruins, mysterious temples, quiet villages, and dangerous lands as you uncover the secrets of the Valley of Rain.
Talk to its inhabitants, search hidden corners, discover treasures, and solve puzzles. In this world, even the smallest detail may be part of a much larger story.

A World Crafted in Pixel Art

Valley of Rain combines detailed pixel art, atmospheric environments, and the visual style of classic JRPGs to create a world that evokes nostalgia while still having an identity of its own.
From quiet seaside towns to ancient temples and mysterious lands shrouded in mist, every location is crafted to feel like an important part of your journey.

A Story of Dreams, Loss, and the Search for Truth

Aerin's journey begins with a dream.
After her mother's disappearance, Aerin begins having strange dreams that lead her toward the mysterious Valley of Rain. What begins as a search for answers soon becomes a much greater adventure involving forgotten places, unusual characters, and secrets buried deep in the past.
Meet memorable characters, discover their stories, and gradually uncover a truth that may not always be what you expect.

There’s More to This Adventure Than Danger

When you need a break from your journey, the world of Valley of Rain offers plenty of other activities and secrets to discover.
Complete side quests, search for hidden treasures, meet the unusual inhabitants of this world, and encounter unexpected events along the way. Some moments will be mysterious, others dangerous, and some simply a little strange.
