Revenger BEFORE ORIGINRevenger BEFORE ORIGIN

Revenger BEFORE ORIGIN is a single-player RPG combining 3D exploration with command-based battles.

Characters have no levels. Instead, their stats gradually increase after battles. Using learned techniques raises their proficiency, making them more powerful.

The adventure takes place in an otherworldly realm created by the villain Mugen. Play as Captain Saijo, search for scattered seal fragments and items, and master your techniques to challenge the bosses blocking your path. Estimated time to complete: around 2–3 hours. Enjoy a satisfying journey from start to finish, with exploration, character growth, and boss battles at a lively pace.

◆The origins of Revenger◆

CS_RPG was the forerunner of the Revenger series. Revenger BEFORE ORIGIN is its first remake and its first move into 3D, telling a story that precedes RevengerORIGIN. Whether you have played the Revenger series before or are discovering it for the first time, this adventure invites you to enjoy the story of where it all began.

◆Attack or defend? Choose your next move.◆

Encounters lead into command-based battles. Watch the action gauges and choose when to attack, use a technique, or defend.

Reduce incoming damage with a well-timed guard, or commit to a powerful technique. Your next decision depends on the enemy and your own condition.

◆Growth without levels◆

Instead of gaining character levels, you develop individual stats through battle. Each stat has a different role.

・HP: your health. Taking damage reduces HP, and reaching zero means defeat. A higher maximum HP lets you withstand more damage.

・BP: your offensive strength. Higher BP increases the damage dealt by normal attacks and offensive techniques.

・WP: contributes to your defense and determines which techniques you can learn. Raising it helps you withstand enemy attacks and opens the way to new techniques.

・SPD: your action speed. Higher SPD fills the action gauge faster, allowing you to act sooner.

◆Practice your techniques. Unleash your power.◆

Grow stronger through battle and improve your techniques by using them. As your abilities and proficiency develop, new techniques become available.

Proficiency measures your practice with each individual technique. Using a technique increases its proficiency, improving its damage or healing power. Techniques have limited uses, and their maximum number of uses increases in steps as proficiency reaches certain thresholds.

Learning a new technique requires enough WP. Some techniques also require a certain level of proficiency in an earlier technique, so WP alone is not always enough.

・Focus Vitality: requires enough WP.

・Captain Flame Fist: requires enough WP and proficiency in Focus Vitality.

・Asterisk Attack: requires enough WP and proficiency in Captain Flame Fist.

・Captain Laser: requires enough WP and proficiency in Asterisk Attack.

Build your WP and keep practicing the techniques you have learned to unlock your next special move.
