Faith or Love
Moldavia, late 15th century. You are Elias, a parish priest turned holy vanquisher of the night. When your wife Ileana is marked by a vampire cult and vanishes, the Church declares her lost. Against its will, you take up a holy relic and hunt the Order of the Black Chalice.
If you find her alive, will you defy your faith to save her?
Every Boss Breaks the Mold
Retro looks, modern design.
Every fight is fast, fair and brutal. Learn the patterns, or die trying.
Find the hidden 13th boss for the ultimate challenge.
Hunt Down Holy Relics
Hidden relics change how you fight.
Search for hidden paths to find them, and choose which one to bring into each stage.
Authentically 8-Bit
No widescreen. No spotting enemies a mile away.
Authentic NES resolution means danger is always right on top of you.
Boss Rush Mode
Clear the game to unlock Boss Rush. Every boss, back-to-back, against the clock.
It's actually pretty fun.
Now Do It Naked.
Nightmare Mode means you're buck naked. No fancy armor to protect you. Only sickos can beat this mode.
A Message from the Developer
Hello everyone.
This game really is a labor of love. As a huge fan of a certain gothic platformer series, I really just wanted an excuse to design some awesome levels, enemies, and most of all, bosses.
If all goes well with this release, the goal is to continue this series into the SNES and 3D eras.
I hope you can join me along this journey, and I hope you enjoy the game.
