The Hired Eye is a narrative-driven supernatural mystery mixed with a dating sim. When a supernatural forest swallows a city along with its people, you're hired to wield your gift of tarot and guide an occult rescue team from behind the scenes. But the deeper you dive, the more your team's flaws and baggage surface, and as your higher-ups' patience wears thin, sending you on ever more desperate expeditions, you start to wonder: is the disaster really your worst enemy?

Every decision shapes the story, and not all of them are as simple as they look. Who you trust, who you save, who you let down. Your team remembers what you chose, even when you don't.

Count every step
Your operative lands on a field of unknowns. Every step they take reveals to you what's around them, and every reveal is a gamble. Somewhere in the fog are survivors and resources worth grabbing. With limited moves, a limited exit window, and limited skills to lean on, every expedition becomes a question: how much can you risk before you have to run?
