Pull Until It BreaksPull Until It Breaks

WHICH BREAKS FIRST: THE SPECIMEN OR THE MACHINE?

Pull Until It Breaks is a destructive-testing simulation game with incremental progression, where everyday materials are pushed beyond their limits.

Load a specimen into your testing machine, start the test, and watch the force climb. Let the machine do the work or push harder yourself to increase the force and generate valuable Research.

Every test brings you closer to discovering exactly what each specimen can withstand.

But the specimen isn't the only thing that can break.

Push beyond your machine's limits and the machine itself could fail, leaving you with a repair bill and a valuable lesson.

TEST EVERYTHING

Start with fragile everyday materials and work your way towards increasingly tough specimens.

Each new specimen presents a bigger challenge. Apply force, observe what happens and discover the hidden breaking point without pushing your testing machine beyond its own limits.

The stronger the specimens become, the more you'll need from your machine.

RESEARCH. EARN. UPGRADE.

Testing generates Research.

Sell your Research for money, then reinvest your earnings into new specimens, repairs and upgrades.

Improve your testing machine, increase its capabilities and take on materials that would have destroyed your equipment earlier in your progression.

Test. Research. Earn. Upgrade. Then push further.

BUILD YOUR CATALOGUE

Every specimen is another mystery waiting to be solved.

Discover breaking points, successfully break specimens and build your Catalogue as you progress from fragile everyday materials to increasingly demanding tests.

How much can you discover?

KNOW WHEN TO STOP... OR DON'T.

Your machine has limits too.

Sometimes the specimen will break first. Sometimes your machine will give up before the specimen does.

Push your equipment too far and you'll have to repair it before testing can continue. Knowing how far to push is part of the experiment.

Of course, you could always push a little harder.

HOW FAR CAN YOU PUSH IT?

Apply force. Break specimens. Generate Research. Make money. Upgrade your machine. Discover stronger materials.

Then do it all again with something harder.

The specimens will get stronger.

Your machine will get stronger.

And the numbers will keep climbing.
