Corner Cafe CapitalistCorner Cafe Capitalist

One corner. One folding cart. A city full of commuters who haven't had their morning fix.

Corner Cafe Capitalist is a business simulation about managing a small refreshment cart on a single corner: what to buy, what to charge, and which corner is worth the rent. Do it well and your cart becomes a kiosk, a truck, a brick-and-mortar cafe, a city-wide franchise. Do it poorly and the bank takes it all back, leaving you right back where you started with nothing but a pitcher and a dream.

FIVE ACTS. SIX ENDINGS.

Your choices across a five-act campaign shape the final legacy of your business. Will you build a local institution, cash out to a competitor, or expand into a faceless corporate empire?

• Untimed Strategy: Make your calls, purchase supplies, manage suppliers, and hire or fire staff at your own pace—then watch your day play out.

• Granular Ledgers: Every single cent traces back to a specific operational decision. Spot exactly why you overbought, underpriced, or misjudged a recipe.

• Full Controller Support: Every button, slider and stepper is reachable with a d-pad or a stick, and the whole interface is laid out for a 7-inch screen.

• Adaptive Settings: Choose between Relaxed and Standard difficulties, or customize individual parameters to fit your ideal simulation pace.

MIX A DRINK NOBODY ELSE SELLS, BUT EVERYONE LOVES

Balance your recipe across six taste axes: sweetness, tartness, dilution, coldness, strength, and richness. Six kinds of customer demographics judge your cup, and they all have conflicting preferences. A hurried commuter forgives a lot for speed; a picky weekend foodie forgives nothing and will tank your ratings with a bad review.

Stop guessing. Run market research, pay a blind taste panel, and learn what your drink is actually worth. Unlock 18 specialized techniques through the research tree to optimize your workflow, and patent your best work before corporate rivals like Kettleman Beverage Group reverse-engineer your recipes.

READ THE STREET

Pick your corner carefully. Claim Market Row for the lucrative weekday lunch rush, Riverside Park for a weekend surge that outsells the ordinary weekdays, or Campus Green for the cheapest lease in town. Watch the sky, too: overstock on a rainy morning and your unsold inventory spoils; understock on a surprise sunny afternoon and you leave pure profit sitting on the concrete.

Succeed, and the landlord notices. Your rent scales up alongside your success, making your best corners your hardest to maintain. Do you double down on a high-stakes intersection or branch out to diversify your risk?

BUY LOW, OR DON'T SELL AT ALL

Watch the price charts to actively protect your margins. Buy the commodity dip in bulk to instantly double your returns, but manage your storage carefully—misjudge a shelf life and your cash investment rots in a crate overnight. Choose from five unique suppliers, balancing trade-offs between bulk pricing, shipping lead times, and reliability.

THEN HAND OVER THE PITCHER

Climb from a street cart to a flagship cafe and kit your business out with 21 structural upgrades. Hire your crew, train the ones worth keeping, set their operational guardrails, and walk away to open your next place while they run the last one. Scale your footprint up to a city-wide franchise—with all the administrative overhead and risk that comes with it.

FIVE RIVALS WHO REMEMBER

Corporate competitors will deliberately trade at cost just to choke out your market share on a shared corner. You'll need sharp business instincts to survive their pressure. Undercut their prices, out-invent their menus, and outlast them until they fold—bankrupting a rival is the cleanest way to become the tycoon capitalist of a corner.
