Choose Your Faction
Play as the Kingdoms, Orcs, Undead, or Elves. Each faction has its own units, warlords, buildings, technologies, and god powers. Build a base, garrison your structures, and research upgrades. Gather gold, wood, food, and divine favor.
Build Your Army
Train warriors, heroes, flying units, dragons, and spellcasters, and build catapults. Defeat bandits to claim treasure, items, and strategic ground. Use tile-based movement to block or surround enemy units. Each faction has its own music, and every unit and almost every building has voiced lines. Save match replays and share them with friends.
Raise Legendary Warlords
Choose abilities as your warlords level up, and equip them with loot from defeated bandits. Buy and sell items at shops in your base or with the wandering trader in the center of the map.
Explore a Changing World
Scout randomly generated maps through the fog of war as day turns to night. Depending on the environment, encounter rain, sandstorms, northern lights, and natural disasters such as giant tornadoes, forest fires, and devastating meteors.
Battle Alone or Online
Challenge computer opponents, play with or against friends, or climb the ranks against players of similar skill. Rejoin a match after a desynchronization. Skill ratings adapt after time away. Communicate through text and voice chat, pings, and taunts, with options to disable or mute them.
