Welcome to Clean Co.
In a world where people subscribe to everything, why shouldn't they subscribe to their windows?
Whenever a window gets dirty, a company comes along, takes it away, and replaces it with a fresh one. The dirty windows are shipped across the world to facilities like yours, where minimum-wage workers clean them before they are sent back into the great window subscription cycle.
Congratulations. You are one of those workers.
- And there are a LOT of windows.
Clean Co. - Window Cleaners is a chaotic arcade window cleaning game for 1-3 players, playable solo or in co-op with your friends.
Clean windows. Make money. Buy upgrades. Survive increasingly ridiculous workdays...
...and try not to get fired.
Your job is simple:
Clean all the required windows (if possible) before the day ends. The better you clean a window, the more money you earn. But every day gets harder.
The available cleaning time gets shorter. The windows get dirtier. The dirt gets tougher to remove. The workload keeps growing. Push your luck and see how far you can make it.
Hit your quota and the exit door unlocks. Clock out, bank the day, walk away clean...
...or stay on the line. Overtime windows still pay.
But the clock is still running and the crane is still delivering. Every pane you rush drags down the day's average, and ruin too many and the shift is over - and the run with it.
When the run ends, start again from Day 1 and try to beat your previous record or compete in the global cleaning facility rankings, to be the very best window cleaner.
How long can you keep the window factory running?
Not all dirt is the same. Unfortunately. Bring the wrong tool and the window will let you know. It smears. It films over. It scratches. And scratched glass does not pay.
No idea what you are looking at? Hold TAB and the window will tell you exactly what it wants. High maintenance, these windows.
Some panes turn up with complications. Boarded windows arrive with planks nailed across the glass, courtesy of somebody who really did not want this window cleaned. Or Security windows arrive with the alarm lasers still switched on. Clip a beam and the pane is whisked away and graded exactly as it is. Half-finished counts. Rude.
Cleaning windows isn't just about making things shiny. It's about making money.
Use your hard-earned cash to buy upgrades during your run and become faster, stronger and more efficient.
Improve your equipment and cleaning abilities to keep up with the increasingly ridiculous workload.
Every run gives you another chance to experiment with different upgrades and find a setup that lets you survive just a little longer.
You thought you were here to clean windows? Unfortunately, the building has other plans.
During your workday, unexpected events can disrupt the entire facility.
Power outage? Fix it.
Water pipe bursting? Fix it.
Something else has exploded for reasons nobody understands? Probably fix that too.
These events interrupt your cleaning operation and force you to deal with problems around the facility before you can get back to work. Every second counts. The windows don't care about your problems.
...and sometimes the line just sends you the wrong thing entirely.
Being a minimum-wage window cleaner is stressful. Luckily, the facility has a vending machine.
Get yourself a treat. Enjoy it & feel the effects.
But beware: Drinking affects your character and can lead to some extremely questionable decision-making.
Tired, weak, drunk? - Get yourself a coffee!
Coffee can help sober you up and even give you a temporary speed boost.
Clean Co. isn't trying to be a realistic window-cleaning simulator.
The facility is packed with physics-driven toys, ridiculous movement options and opportunities to make a complete mess of your workplace and a fool of yourself.
Ride cleaning carts, get launched around by the hose, slide, stumble, crash and fling yourself across the facility.
Why clean hundreds of windows alone when you can make your friends do it too?
Play solo or team up with your friends in co-op.
Divide the work, coordinate your upgrades and keep the facility running. - Or don't.
There is nothing stopping your friend from drinking three beers, driving a cleaning cart into a window and somehow becoming the biggest obstacle in the entire operation.
And nothing is stopping you from retaliating.
Throw anything at anyone. A hurled tool staggers a teammate just long enough to steal their bay. A well-aimed can takes them off their feet completely and leaves them seeing stars.
Or keep it professional and simply hose them down - a faceful of degreaser will not cost them a single point, but it will cost them the ability to see anything at all.
Work together. Make money. Cause problems and then solve them before you get fired altogether.
Arcade Window Cleaning: Clean dirty windows quickly and efficiently by choosing the right tools while racing against the clock.
Multiple Kinds of Dirt: Dust, mud, grease and graffiti each need a different tool - and the wrong tool smears, scratches or ruins the pane.
Awkward Windows: Boarded-up panes to pry open and live security lasers to clean around.
Roguelike Runs: Start every run at Day 1 and see how far you can get before the workload becomes impossible.
Overtime: Fill the quota and clock out safely, or stay on the line and keep earning until the shift eats you.
Buy Upgrades: Spend the money you earn during a run to improve your equipment and abilities.
Random Events: Power outages, leaking pipes and other facility disasters force you to stop cleaning and deal with the problem.
Solo & Co-op: Work alone or clean with your friends.
Physics Chaos: Ride cleaning carts, get dragged by hoses and abuse the laws of physics for workplace efficiency.
Pure Arcade Fun: No deep meaning. No serious simulation. Just dirty windows, questionable physics and the eternal struggle of getting paid.
The windows won't clean themselves.
And judging by the size of that pile...
You're going to be here for a while.
