The orchestra plays the performance you give it
Most music games hand you a track of falling notes. Conduction 2 hands you the whole orchestra. Raise the baton and the players wait on you. Your downbeat starts the music, your hand shapes it, and the music follows wherever you lead: faster, slower, louder, softer, held, released.
There is no "correct" tempo to chase. Take the Blue Danube slow and lush or tear through the Can-Can. The score is yours to interpret.
Your mouse is the baton
Tempo – the beat lands where your stroke bounces. Speed up, slow down, and the orchestra goes with you.
Dynamics – big gestures play loud, small ones bring the hall down to a whisper.
Accents– a sharp, fast stroke makes the orchestra bite.
Fermatas – hold still and the orchestra holds with you, until you cut them off.
Rubato – stretch a phrase and let it settle back into time.
Build an orchestra of your own
Every chair belongs to a real musician with their own name, face and skill. Hire players, seat them where you like, and watch them improve as they perform with you. A bigger, better ensemble opens up bigger pieces, all the way to a full symphony orchestra.
Win the city, then fill the hall
Your score is your fee. Busk at the open-air Bowl to win fans, conduct by the sea at the Palm Beach stage, then bring your audience into the concert hall. Every performance is judged on its expression and its control, and your best runs are kept so you can race your own records. Earn your way to Graduation Day, where a packed house rises to sing Land of Hope and Glory with you.
