Design the order it breaks
DEEP FORTRESS is a single-player autobattler about war machines built from real parts: chassis, hulls, weapons, armor plates and the joints that hold them together. You plan everything in the hangar. Once the battle starts it plays out on its own, and every hit lands on an actual part. Armor soaks fire, joints get cut, weapons drop to the floor, and an arm with its own autonomous core keeps fighting long after the body is gone.
Defend your fortress. Break theirs.
Both sides fight from a modular fortress. Mount guns on its towers and plates on its walls. Fallen machines are rebuilt one at a time and roll out of the gate again for as long as your supplies last. Order raiders to swing wide along the flank and strike the enemy fortress core first. Lose your own core, and the battle is lost.
Salvage. Redesign. Descend.
Tear intact parts off defeated enemies and bolt them onto your own machines. Experiment with combinations to awaken hidden frames with unique abilities. Push down through five sectors, each with its own hazards, bosses and unidentified signals.
