A Little Higher is a pixel-art tower management sim. Start with a lobby and a few apartments on one city lot, and build up: offices, cafés, a hotel, shops and restaurants, a movie theater, and penthouses fifty floors above the street. Every tenant has a day of their own, and every one of them needs a ride home.
Keep your tenants happy to earn stars, buy the lots next door to widen your site and raise the height limit, and unlock new rooms as you grow, from hotel suites and basements to executive offices and penthouses. Your tower runs day and night, through rain and snow, across all four seasons.
Lay slabs, drag out lobbies and elevator shafts, and place rooms on a cutaway of your tower. Dig basements for parking, storage, a power generator, and the garbage room. Found a layout you like? Hold Shift, drag over it, and stamp copies of it up the tower.
Residents leave for work, office workers line up for lunch, hotel guests check in for the night, and everyone remembers how their day went. Slow elevators, noisy neighbors, rent above the going rate, garbage piling up: they notice it all, and unhappy tenants move out. The Stats window shows what's bothering them and where.
Elevators are the heart of every tower. Add cars, choose where each one stops and rests, and schedule pickups for the morning rush. Express shafts jump between sky lobbies, sky elevators climb fifty floors at a time, and a maintenance crew keeps the cars from breaking down.
Set rents and hotel rates, hire housekeepers, receptionists, and bellhops, and keep the lights on with power to spare. Open cafés, restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and a movie theater with new releases every week, sell condos, and take out a loan when cash runs thin. Just don't let the bank take the tower.
