Seasonal Resets, New Paths

At the start of each season, your character level, equipment, and regular resources reset. Choose your sect anew and begin another journey.

Wield a sword in one season and command fire and lightning in the next. Cultivate alone, or embrace healing and defensive arts to support your allies. Different sect traditions, cultivation builds, and rare resources bring fresh choices to every season.

Some achievements endure: spirit pets, cosmetics, tokens, titles, and other designated content carry over between seasons.

Four Sects, Four Traditions

Each sect offers its own starting cultivation method and progression path. Choose your tradition and take your first step.

• Swordseeker Mountain: Specializes in non-elemental sword attacks that pierce defenses. Combine them with certain elemental sword arts to stack additional penetration effects.

• Heavenflame Sect: Practice fire arts to overwhelm groups of enemies with area damage and burning effects, or harness lightning to inflict shock and paralysis.

• Mountainsea Sect: Water arts provide healing and buffs to support allies. Earth arts emphasize defense, allowing you to withstand attacks and turn your defensive strength into damage.

• Spiritweave Pavilion: Specializes in wood arts, controlling enemies, weakening groups of foes, and healing allies to shape the course of battle.

Compete for Sect Leadership

During the first week of each season, sect members can enter a tournament to compete for leadership. The winner becomes Sect Master, with the authority to appoint members to positions and increase their monthly stipends.

Complete sect tasks to earn contribution points, challenge sect bosses together, explore secret realms, and compete for rare materials. Work with fellow disciples to reclaim lost sect resources. As your sect grows in level, its disciples cultivate faster. Every member contributes to its success.

Build Your Own Cultivation Style

Meditate to accumulate cultivation, break through to earn talent points, and gradually unlock more slots for cultivation methods and combat arts. Allocate your talents and combine techniques with equipment to suit your preferred playstyle.

Spend contribution points in your sect’s treasury to obtain its techniques. Techniques from other sects must be acquired through boss battles or trading with other players. Each stage limits how many methods and arts you can learn, making every choice count.

Grow Spiritual Herbs and Refine Pills

Plant spiritual herbs and nurture them to harvest. Sell your crops at the market, or refine them into pills that increase cultivation and improve your chances of a breakthrough.

Keep an eye on your garden, though—fellow disciples can steal your herbs!

Customize Your Equipment and Treasures

Equipment spans ten tiers, corresponding to the major cultivation realms, with five quality grades: Low, Medium, High, Profound, and Heavenly. Enhance base attributes and reroll bonus stats to tailor your weapons and armor to your build.

Earth cultivators can wield shields and focus on health, physical defense, and magical defense, strengthening both their survivability and damage. Sword cultivators can choose swords, sabers, spears, and other weapons to complement their techniques. Your sect does not restrict your equipment choices.

There are also ten types of craftable treasures. Treasures have no progression tiers, and each provides its own attribute bonuses and a randomly assigned passive skill. Equip up to six different treasures, enhance their base attributes, and reroll their passive skills to refine your build.

Spirit Pets of the Five Elements

Deploy up to five spirit pets at once to help you face powerful enemies.

Spirit pets come in five quality grades—Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, and Red—with different attributes and numbers of skills. Each elemental type has its own strengths: Metal pets excel at physical attacks, while Fire pets specialize in fire spells. Level up, advance, and reroll your pets to develop dependable companions for your journey.

Trade Your Discoveries

Buy and sell materials and items at the auction house. Growing herbs, refining pills, defeating bosses, and exploring secret realms all offer ways to earn Spirit Crystals.

Keep treasures that suit your build, or sell rare equipment, artifacts, and techniques to players who need them. Turn your discoveries into resources for your next breakthrough.

Life Beyond Cultivation

Chat and spar with other players, collect titles and outfits, compete in popularity, charm, and other rankings, and explore additional activities, including the Ancient Wilds.
