From a single hide to something of your own
Make card wallets, folding wallets, key tags, totes, and flap crossbody bags in Leather Atelier. This first version focuses on these representative pieces. Work on customer orders or experiment in the creative mode available from the start.
Start with your own pattern
Free pattern design supports two families: totes and flat wallets. Adjust dimensions and corners while viewing the pattern and its 3D preview together. Read a hide's flaws, creases, and grain before choosing where to place and turn each pattern. The place you cut becomes part of the finished surface.
One stitch at a time, with practice
Place a pricking iron and control the mallet's force to make holes. Prepare your thread, pass two needles through the same hole, and pull each stitch snug. Your work in precision mode affects how even the stitches look. Build mastery in each technique to unlock rhythm and master assistance, or choose guided help.
Design the outside and the inside
- Layer dyes, carve and stamp patterns, or paint directly onto leather.
- Make a personal stamp for patterns and your workshop mark.
- Place linings, pockets, and card slots, then check how items fit.
- Finish the edges and add hardware, charms, and lettering.
Make, keep, and mend
Choose a composition and lighting at the photo corner and keep pictures in your portfolio. Deliver orders or display freely made pieces for sale. Inspect wear on older bags, repair damaged areas, and compare before and after. Cut old bag panels again to remake them into smaller leather goods.
