Witch's Apprentices

Four apprentices, summoned by their witch teacher. Today's lesson: brew a potion by adding ingredients to the cauldron. The catch? Nobody has to tell the truth.
Real ingredient, or fake? Catch a lie and your opponent is punished. Guess wrong and the punishment is yours. Only the last apprentice still in human form gets to graduate.

Place ingredients face-down into the cauldron to match the teacher's recipe. Real or fake, all you say is "It's the real thing."
Suspicious? Cast "Dispel!" The cards flip and the truth comes out. Deceive, detect, or let it slide — every turn is a battle of wits.

Play online with up to 4 friends on Steam. Chat by voice while you play, and every excuse and every nervous pause becomes a clue.
Not enough players? No problem. Bots with different personalities will fill the empty seats, with three difficulty levels to choose from.

Peek at hands, swap cards, bounce curses back, rewrite fate — a wide variety of spell cards throw the table into chaos.
Play one at the right moment and you can turn a losing game around. Knowing which card to use, and when, is part of the mind game.

Lose a Dispel and you spin the punishment roulette. Run out of lives and you turn into a frog in a puff of smoke.
But the game isn't over for you. Watch the rest of the bluffing unfold from atop your desk.

How to Play: One Turn

The teacher sets the recipe (the ingredient for this round's potion)
On your turn, place ingredients face-down into the cauldron and claim they're real
The next player either trusts you and plays on, or calls "Dispel!"
On a Dispel, the cards are revealed. The loser spins the punishment roulette
Out of lives? You're a frog. The last apprentice still human graduates!

A single-player mode where you face quirky apprentices and monsters one-on-one, making your way from the classroom to the night library and up to the witch's tower.
Between exams, choose your path and spend "Magic Shards" at the school shop to add candles (lives) or power up your spell cards.
Every opponent has their own style and special rules, plus exam-only spell cards and special ingredient cards. The lineup changes every run, so no two attempts are the same. And after you graduate, "Detention" awaits.

Who You'll Face in the Final Exam

The Classroom: easygoing, impatient, overly suspicious... apprentices with a twist
The Night Library: a talking grimoire, a bookworm, a mischievous ghost, a strict librarian witch
The Witch's Tower: a fickle black cat, a mimicking mirror spirit, a cheerful skeleton mage, an ancient dragon guarding the tower
And waiting at the very end... the teacher
