Deep in the bayou, the dead are rising from the black water. Only an old totem still holds them back.
MALMORT is a first-person tower defense game with a PSX horror look, playable solo or in 2-player online co-op. You build wooden walkways on stilts above the swamp and fill them with traps. Then you fight the horde yourself as it wades out of the fog toward the totem.
BUILD YOUR DEFENSE
Lay platforms, ramps and ladders, and claim the old abandoned structures scattered across the swamp. You have around twenty traps and turrets to choose from: blades, spikes, fire, oil, lightning, harpoons and more. Each one has its own upgrade tree.
FIGHT UP CLOSE
You stand on the walkways next to your traps, weapon in hand. Each hero fights in their own way.
STACK COMBOS
A zombie hit by several different traps and effects before it dies (burning, bleeding, shocked, poisoned) is worth more souls. Spend the souls on more defenses.
MIND THE FOG
During waves the fog creeps in. It hides the horde, makes it stronger, and slowly drives you mad. Light it up to push it back.
SURVIVE THE BAYOU
Runners, crawlers, brutes, witches and worse come out of the swamp, and some things are still waiting deeper in the bayou.
THE HEROES
Each hero was drawn to the bayou by their own loss. Each has a signature weapon, their own way of fighting and their own upgrade path, up to legendary abilities.
Captain Baptiste fights with a harpoon gun and fire.
La Louve is a crossbow hunter of the swamp who rallies the defenses around her.
Sister Célestine is armed with holy water and sacred flame. Her soul is lost somewhere in the bayou, and you must find her before she joins you.
Camille Moreau wields a blowgun. He is searching for his missing uncle and the papers that could win back his family’s stolen land. Find him searching the bayou.
