Tea Break teaches you which hands to play, from which seat, and why. It is a study tool for No Limit Texas Hold'em, not a poker game: no real money, no wagering, no chips to buy.
Most poker trainers ask you to memorise a few hundred hands and charts. Memory fades, and a chart tells you nothing about a hand you have not seen before. Tea Break teaches the handful of ideas the charts are built from, so you can work the answer out at the table instead of trying to remember it.
How it works
A hand, a seat, a decision. Five minutes is a full lesson.
Get one wrong and you are told which idea you broke and what follows from it, not just that you were wrong.
The hand stays on screen afterwards. See the whole correct strategy, then replay the spot as often as you like. Only your first answer counts, so working a hand costs you nothing.
Some hands are not a straight yes or no. The right play is a mix: raise this one 60 percent of the time and fold it the rest. Tea Break deals those hands the way they are really played, so meet the same spot ten times and raising is what the cards call for on six of them. You learn to mix by mixing rather than by reading a percentage off a chart. The answers come from solver output the professionals study.
Mistakes are measured in the units poker already uses, big blinds per hundred hands, and totalled into a single rating that moves as you improve.
Start at the beginning: which hands to open, from every seat. Then defending your big blind, and on through the flop, turn and river.
Free to start: play any fourteen lessons you like.
No ads, and there never will be.
