WOLFSBANNER is a story-driven medieval kingdom builder and RPG set in 1403 Central Europe. Build your town from above, then walk its streets as its lord, and every soul in it knows your name.
TWO WAYS TO RULE
Switch freely between the top-down builder's view and third-person life on the ground. Place every house, workshop and road yourself with no grid and no fixed plots, then step down and walk through what you built.
NEVER ALONE: YOUR RETINUE
Your clerk Matthias and your personal guard follow you everywhere: through the fields, into the market, up to the building sites. Call your clerk with one key; every morning he brings the report: food and timber in store, idle hands, unfinished work, and what the town needs next.
A TOWN WITH A DAILY LIFE
Dawn, noon, dusk and night change how the town lives. Every villager has a home, a trade and a routine: builders haul stone at sunrise, merchants open their stalls, the tavern fills at dusk. Citizens stop to greet their lord as you pass.
A TOWN THAT REMEMBERS
People remember everything: who you helped, who you wronged, whose petition you postponed. Their greetings, their gossip and their loyalty change with your choices.
JUDGE YOUR PEOPLE FACE TO FACE
Every morning, hold court in your hall. Over 150 fully written petitions, trials, envoys and council reports. Pass judgment and live with it.
A STORY OF LOSS AND RECKONING
Aldric von Rabenau, a bookish young noble, loses his father, his home and his sister in a single night. Across a Prologue and four acts he learns what his father truly did, who sold him, and what kind of ruler he himself will become. Every great decision has a price; no one is entirely right.
FROM VILLAGE TO KINGDOM
Stone roads, market squares, palisades, then stone walls and a keep. Grow a ruined hamlet into the heart of a kingdom.
