One More Station is a cosy-but-crunchy metro management game drawn in a goofy, hand-doodled style. Draw lines on a schematic map, buy trains, set fares and watch thousands of little commuters pour through your stations. There is no story, only interacting systems that react to every line you draw. And there is always room for... one more station.
Every game starts in a small framed town with a single line and a handful of tools. Meet the town's goals and it grows overnight: at dawn the map opens up, new districts emerge from the fog and fresh mechanics unlock one at a time.
- Six city sizes, from Small town to a sprawling 48-district Metropolis
- A short guided start, then growth cards that introduce each new tool when you need it
- Every city is procedurally generated, with coasts, rivers, lakes, parks and districts
- Challenges: six hand-made scenarios with a goal, a deadline and up to three stars each
- Every resident picks a destination and decides between your metro and the car. Waiting time, transfers, crowding and fares all count
- Morning and evening rush hours, quiet weekends, and platforms that really fill up when trains can't keep pace
- Octilinear lines, circle lines, interchanges, bridges and tunnels, depots, longer trains and station upgrades
- Fares, rush-hour surcharges, advertising, subsidies and loans, and every lever has a cost in rider happiness
- Data maps, statistics and a Manager's Feed that tells you exactly where things are going wrong
From Market town on, a
mayor with an agenda sends requests: connect that new district, serve the university, cap the fare, get thousands of fans to the big match and home again. Accept or decline, but your
approval decides your subsidy and your permit costs.
- Mandates, levies and fines once you're a City
- Weekly council sessions and mayoral elections. Endorse the candidate you can work with
- Go bankrupt and City Hall bails you out... once
- Relaxed difficulty for pure building, Demanding for a real challenge
- 32 Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud saves
- Undo for construction (Ctrl+Z) with a full refund on the same day
- Colour-blind friendly crowding colours, rebindable hotkeys and a frame-rate limit
- A generative soundtrack that follows the time of day
- Hide-the-UI screenshot mode for showing off your spaghetti
