Shift the throttle notch by notch, point where the train should go at the next switch and back out of dead ends before the horde pins you down. Your route is your strategy: a wrong turn can trap you in the middle of the swarm.
Build your train
Every level-up lets you couple a new weapon wagon or upgrade one you have:
- Flatcar Turret: a rotating gun that hits the nearest enemy
- Crane Car: a swinging boom that sweeps skeletons off the tracks
- Stake Car: pipes that roll off the sides and flatten everything
- Tank Car: an oil slick that slows the dead, set it alight and it burns
- Mortar Car: a mortar that shells the densest packs
- Boxcar: drones that circle the train
Max out a wagon, own the matching upgrade and a station chest evolves it, like the Tank Car into the Napalm Train.
Upgrade the engine
Armour plating, a bigger boiler, a coal supply that repairs the train, stronger couplings and a magnet for XP gems shape how your run plays.
A horde that pushes back
Swarms of skeleton minions, armoured brutes, hooded saboteurs that barricade your line and golem elites. Ram them, grind through them, but do not stop for long.
The Demon Lord
At the end of every run a burning pentagram ignites and the Demon Lord rises. Hold the line.
