Two gates. One computer.
LogicForge ships no ready-made building blocks. There is NOT and AND – and everything grows out of those: OR, XOR, multiplexers, adders, registers, an ALU, and finally your own 8-bit CPU with an assembler.
Build hierarchically
One key turns any circuit into a component in your library, ready to be used as often as you like – nested as deep as you like. The live view opens any instance and shows its inside with the real values.
Story mode
102 chapters in fifteen acts across three worlds – circuits, assembly, Python – each with its own character that grows as you progress. The goal is given, the solution is yours to find, and stars reward correctness and economy. Every block you solve (OR, XOR, adder, ALU, flip-flop, register, counter …) sits ready in your library afterwards.
- World 1 – Circuits: from the first NAND to your own CPU, built from nothing but NOT and AND.
- World 2 – Assembly: write programs for the LF-8, the CPU you just built – loops, subroutines, sorting, a traffic light and an elevator.
- World 3 – Python: programming from zero. One new idea per chapter, a short lesson with an example you can run, and feedback that tells you exactly what is different from the expected output. Later your scripts become components and control animated scenes.
Tools like the real thing
Truth tables, waveform view with cursors, halt conditions, keyboard, terminal, screen, RAM/ROM, Verilog export and import, Arduino export of the finished circuit, and an import for Logisim files.
Workshop
Share components, simulations and tasks with others – via the Steam Workshop or a plain folder.
