Heaven won't take you. Hell is packed.
So the damned get one last chance. You get a job.
You're a devil intern in a Hellish workshop. Your job is to process souls, rid them of their sins, handle the paperwork, and send them on their way.
Up to four devils work a shift. You have seven machines, a toolbox, and a plan for the day. The souls have seven deadly sins and absolutely no intention of getting rid of them.
First things first: don't lose the souls.
One comes out of the Cryo Chamber as a block of ice. Another is already floating near the ceiling. A third has decided to lie down somewhere nobody will find it.
The machines help get rid of sins, but each one has its quirks.
And yes — some of them work perfectly well on more than just souls.
Especially interns.The paperwork matters too.
Every soul has a file: a photo, cause of death, and a list of sins.
Find the right file, figure out who it belongs to, get rid of the soul's sins, fill out the paperwork, and send it to Heaven.
Just like a normal job.
Except mix up the files and Heaven pays less. Ignore the paperwork and things get even more fun.
Just don't lose the file.Especially along with the soul. You can work alone. But why make things easier for yourself?
A partner can catch a flying tool, bail you out when everything goes wrong, or, on the other hand, find a way to make things even worse.
Working together is more fun.
Usually.
Sometimes even faster. Sometimes. The machines don't care who gets put through them.
The Cryo Chamber freezes. The Press flattens. Electroshock scrambles the controls. The Confiscator knocks every tool out of your hands.
If you're really unlucky, you'll become a soul yourself.
No big deal. Your partners can process you, put you back on the job, and the shift goes on.
That's how it's supposed to work.Exactly why is a different question.Even in Hell, you can look decent.
Your rank and salary go up over time, along with new tools and perks.
You can also customize your work uniform, choose different hats, and change your look.
Because a promotion should look the part.
Otherwise, what's the point?Nothing in Hell stays working for long.
With every shift, the workshop starts falling apart a little more.
Fires, power outages, eclipses, floods, breakdowns, and other workplace inconveniences.
Someone stole something? Normal.
Something caught fire? Happens.
The whole workshop stopped working?
Stay calm.Actually, don't.
