A skateboarding toy in an infinite city
Pick a skater, drop in, and roll. There's no score to chase, no fail state to fear and no timer ticking down. Just the board, the street, and the feel of a good time.
An endless city that prints as you skate
The world is one city with no edge, built from tetromino-shaped tiles that lock together like falling blocks. Ledges, rails, banks and bowls sit side by side, and a plaza can open straight onto a pool. Pick a direction and keep going: the city prints itself ahead of your wheels, so there's always another spot around the corner.
Tuned for feel
Tricks here are expression. Combos are collaborative.
Kick it at your own pace: lean into carves, scrub through turns, pump for speed.
Grinds, grabs, plants and kicks: learn what's possible. The city is full of skatable spots, and there are rumours of a skate king.
Bailing: the fall is half the fun. The other half? Probably making your friends bail.
Shared combos: combos stack across all four players. One falls, everyone loses.
Four skaters, one sofa
Plug in more pads and your friends drop in. Roam the same endless streets, trade lines and watch each other bail. Adaptive audio follows the whole crew, so every roll, grind and landing feeds the lo-fi soundtrack. (The game was made with Steam Remote Play Together in mind, so make distance seem close and skate together with friends from all over)
Grows with free updates
Every update adds new tile sets and new skaters. The city gets richer, the crew gets bigger, and every update is free.
Making the city interactive and hiding a ton of secrets is what comes next, then, the plan is to add a Camera mode where one player shoots a video for another skater, and they pass the camera around, creating a reel.
A note from the developer
Strawberry Milkshake is small on purpose: a finished toy I made to learn from, built to grow one piece at a time. The look is made to feel made by hand, because it was. Home-grown, fully organic, human-made. Soundtrack and all. Grab a friend, pick a direction, and see where the street takes you.
