You booked the cheapest hotel in the country. Now you have to find it, but all you've got is the name of its closest station. LIMITED EXPRESS is a co-op adventure game about navigating an unfamiliar railway, solo or with jet-lagged friends. Can you make it to check in before the last train leaves?
FIND YOUR WAY
All you have is a paper with your hotel and its closest station, but it's in another language. You'll need to explore the railways, read signs, inspect line maps, learn the local language, and ride trains until the network starts to make sense.
ONLY ONE DAY
The day starts early in the morning, and you have until the last train at midnight to make it to your hotel. The trains follow real timetables, and the world keeps moving even if you don't. Can you find your way before you become stranded at night?
TRAVEL TOGETHER
You'll need to work together as a team to figure out where to go. Should you split up to check more routes or stay together? Getting separated could be part of the strategy, but which station did you want to meet back up at again?
TOYS FOR THE RIDE
Every station has a capsule machine with fun toys to help you on your journey. But you only have room to carry a few, so you'll need to think carefully about what to bring, and when to use them.
A NEW WORLD EVERY TIME
Each world is procedurally generated with a completely new train network, language, and stations. Even if you've played before, it will always feel a little bit unfamiliar.
FEATURES

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Hi, thanks for checking out my first game! I'm the solo developer behind LIMITED EXPRESS. I've been wanting to make my own game for years, but mostly stuck to modding instead. But here we are!
The idea for this game came to me after a recent trip to Japan. I wanted to capture the feeling of arriving in a new place and having to figure out where to go. It's a bit overwhelming at first, but then you slowly start to get the hang of things, even if you don't understand all the signs.
I also share my development progress on socials, which you can find on the sidebar to the right.
