CleanUp OS is a cozy simulation game about fixing someone's computer
the old-fashioned way: you sit down at it and clean it up.
Every level is one machine, one job. A client hands you their PC - a
grandmother who can't video-call the grandkids, a photographer drowning in
Downloads, a shop register that takes ten minutes to boot. Read their note,
look around, and tidy the mess: delete the junk, end the processes eating the
CPU, uninstall the bloat, clear out the browser. Watch the task list tick
down until the machine breathes again.
Real tools, simulated mess
The desktop is a working miniature operating system, and every fix is done
with its own tools:
File Explorer - dig through folders, drag keepers where they belong, delete what isn't
Task Manager - find what's eating the CPU and end it
Add/Remove Programs - uninstall the bloat
Startup Manager - stop junk from launching at boot
NetSurf - a simulated browser full of cache, extensions, and downloads to clear out
Virus Scanner - scan, find, remove
Storage & System Update - free the disk space you need to finally run the big update
Features
15 hand-crafted computers - every level has a client, a note on the fridge, its own wallpaper, and a mess with personality
Keep vs junk - the puzzle is care, not deduction: the photos, the taxes, the one installer they still need. Don't delete those.
Junk that fights back - junk-ad popups, background hogs, and files that respawn until you find the source
Feel the machine relax - CPU drops, popups stop, the desktop visibly lightens as you clean
Chill by design - no fail timers, no horror, no ransomware drama.Optional bonus objectives and best times for the thorough.
A built-in level editor - build and share your own messy PCs
One desk at a time, one machine at a time. They'll all breathe again.
