Realms of Resurgence
Step through the portal as a novice wizard. You will not stay one for long.
Realms of Resurgence is a third-person action roguelite where combat is only one part of the run. Puzzles and platforming shape your route through the levels, and two separate layers of progression shape how you grow.
You do the aiming. Some spells fly where you send them, while others behave differently once cast. When enemies close around you, Dash gives you a way through the crowd instead of forcing you to fight your way back out.
Every level is handcrafted. There is no procedural generation. The layout you fail on today is the layout you return to tomorrow, so knowledge carries forward even when a run does not.
Master Your Spells
Fireball, Ice Spike, and Cyclone don't play the same, and they're not meant to.
Fireball is the one you point and fire. A clean hit can leave an enemy burning after impact.
Ice Spike can track and retarget enemies as they fall, and its Freeze effect can stop a target in its tracks.
Cyclone doesn't fly anywhere. It erupts around you when enemies are already too close, with a chance to kill a non-boss enemy outright.
Every spell upgrades along its own separate tracks. Push one for raw damage, shorten its cooldown, or invest in an upgrade that changes how the spell behaves instead of simply making the number bigger.
Not Every Wall Falls to Combat
Not every obstacle here gets solved by fighting. Some paths only open once you've cleared enough enemies. Others hide behind an environmental puzzle, a hidden interaction, or a route you'll miss if you charge straight ahead.
One boss arena changes the ground under you mid-fight. Pillars rise from the water as the battle begins, and the space you're fighting in keeps shifting until it's over.
You won't find everything on your first run. Miss a path or overlook a secret, and you'll know where to look harder the next time through.
Grow Stronger, Two Ways
Your power grows in two ways. Upgrades earned mid-run push your wizard and your spells beyond where they started, but that strength disappears the moment the run ends.
Permanent progression works differently. What you invest between attempts stays with you, giving your next run a stronger foundation even after a failed one.
Losing a run costs you the run. It doesn't erase what you've built outside of it.
Face What Comes Next
Enemy groups grow more dangerous the deeper you go. Positioning, spell choice, and the terrain itself decide whether you reach the fight waiting at the end of the level.
Beat the boss, and the portal opens to what's next.
