Fail and you're fired!?
SONTAKU SOUL is a frantic collection of microgames about Japanese business etiquette.
Play as Tamako, a brand-new employee, and tackle one situation after another that every office worker has agonized over at least once: bowing, exchanging business cards, choosing the right seat, raising a toast, stamping documents, answering the phone. You get a few seconds each. There is no time to hesitate.
The manners are real. The pace is not.
Over 40 microgames are included. How deep to bow, how high to hold out your business card, which seat to take in a taxi, where to hold your glass during a toast... each one is based on actual Japanese business etiquette, yet in practice it all comes down to reflexes.
Mess up and the boss has a word for you. But read the explanation afterward and you'll learn the correct answer and the reason behind it. Somehow, without meaning to, you'll end up learning real manners.
Fail in every way you can
In each microgame, there is more than one way to get it wrong.
Every kind of mistake has its own punchline, and each one earns you another merciless comment from the boss.
Clearing a microgame once doesn't mean you've seen everything it has to offer. Failing on purpose is a perfectly legitimate way to play this game.
