The sea is listening.
Dead Reckoning is an open-water survival horror experience set on a dark, fogbound ocean. Find seven
drifting bottles, navigate by compass, map and memory, then make for the extraction point before the shark
closes in.
Your sonar is the only way to see beyond the fog. Use it to survey the sea floor, build your map, and find
what lies beneath the surface. But every pulse makes noise. The more you rely on it, the more accurately
the thing hunting you can find you.
The water is not just scenery. Shallow ground throws whitewater, rough bars can trap a boat, and changing
weather turns every journey into a fight to stay upright. Read the waves, manage the throttle, keep your bow
clear, and avoid taking heavy seas broadside.
The shark does not simply charge. It watches, circles, disappears into the dark, and is attracted to the noise
you make.
More ways to take the helm
Coast Guard: Follow an EPIRB signal, recover survivors, attach tow lines, and bring disabled vessels safely home.
Hurricane Survival: Endure escalating sea conditions as the weather builds from coastal swell to monster waves.
Sandbox: Experiment freely with vessels, weather, trim, ballast, and the sea itself.
Choose from a few distinct vessels, from nimble personal craft to massive ships. Every hull responds
differently to wave faces, speed, roll, currents, and damage.
In Deadrise, surviving the sea is only the beginning.
Gameplay influenced by Slenderman: The Eight Pages and Choo Choo Charles.
