Sonic Panic is an asymmetric multiplayer game of sound, stealth, deception, and panic for up to 15 players.

Some players become terrifying Bosses that hunt almost entirely through sound. The others must survive — but there's another problem:

Not everyone on your side can be trusted.

Hidden Imposters are working against the group from within, forcing survivors to figure out who is helping them... and who is deliberately leading them into danger.

And when suspicion gets high enough?

Vote them out.

The Boss Can't See You — But It Can Hear You

Up to 3 players can become Bosses.

For the Boss, most of the world is completely black. Instead of normal vision, sound creates expanding sonic waves that temporarily reveal players, objects, and the surrounding environment.

Footsteps. Abilities. Devices. Other players making noise.

Every sound provides information.

Track where a wave originated, remember the environment it revealed, predict where your prey is heading, and strike before they disappear back into the darkness.

You don't need to see them. You just need to hear them.

Survive the Hunt

As a regular player, you can see the arena — but you're being hunted by something far stronger than you.

Run, hide, use abilities, deploy distractions and work together to survive.

But moving creates noise.

Using an ability might save your life while simultaneously revealing exactly where you are.

Sometimes staying quiet is the safest option.

Sometimes it's the worst thing you can do.

There Are Imposters Among You

The Boss isn't your only threat.

Up to 3 players can secretly become Imposters, blending in with everyone else while working against the group.

An Imposter might behave suspiciously...

Or they might gain your trust first.

Watch what other players are doing, discuss who you think is responsible, and vote out suspected Imposters before they sabotage your chances of survival.

Just make sure you're accusing the right person.

Sound Changes Everything

Sound isn't just an effect in Sonic Panic — it's part of the gameplay.

Sonic waves spread through the arena, revealing the environment and exposing positions to the Boss.

That means every action becomes a decision:

Do you move and risk being detected?

Do you create noise somewhere else to mislead the Boss?

Was that player genuinely trying to help... or did an Imposter just reveal your position on purpose?
