Mogura is a 2.5D action-adventure game where you play as a ninja mole who must rescue his tribe after birds descend from the sky and take control of the lands.
The story begins when different mammal species come together to stop living as prey and form the Mountain Alliance. However, moles are rejected by the others and eventually build their own civilization underground.
One day, the birds arrive in the mountains and begin conquering and enslaving the other species. Mogura’s father, the tribe’s leader, decides to help the Alliance, but they are defeated and the moles are captured.
Mogura is then forced to rescue his tribe, leading him to explore the surface, fight the birds, and discover what happened to his father.
The gameplay combines combat and exploration. As a ninja mole, Mogura’s abilities and the way he interacts with the environment are an important part of the gameplay, incorporating mechanics such as digging, tracking by scent, and claw-based combat.
