Keep climbing. You still do not arrive.
Mugen Kaidan: Danchi is a short first-person psychological horror game about climbing the stairwell of an aging Japanese apartment complex.
You leave the fifth floor at dusk and head upward, only to find the floor numbers returning to where you began. A gap in a door. Something beyond the window. Footsteps that do not match your own. Observe what changes inside the repeating stairwell, follow the clues that remain grounded in reality, and uncover the code leading to the rooftop.
There is no combat and no game over caused by a chase. The experience is built around changes in the environment, spatial sound, and contradictions in memory rather than constant jump scares.
