Hasami is a tree pruning game where every cut cleaves through everything it crosses. Find the right angle, pull branches aside with ropes, nurture new growth, and clean endless procedural trees down to their blossom.
Every cut counts
Draw a line across a branch and everything it crosses falls into the pond. Bare wood costs you, so does dead blossom, and only living blossom pays. Look through the crown with the branch view, tie limbs aside with ropes, and let good cuts buy new growth.
A new tree every day
If you're feeling competitive, a tree is picked at random each day and given a leaderboard. Shape it, file your score, and see where you land among your friends and the world. Every round on the board keeps its replay: open one and scrub through it to see exactly how the best trees were cut.
No two trees alike
Nineteen species, each grown from a seed, each with its own garden around it. The same seed grows the same tree on any machine, so every tree can be shared and played again.
Wildlife in the garden
Herons wade the shallows, owls roost in the canopy, and dragonflies skim the pond. Raise the field camera, draw a loop round whatever catches your eye, and the photograph goes into your notebook.
