Why was the name Sherlock Holmes already known to the public before Watson ever began recording his cases?
One day, when Watson asks him that very question, Holmes begins to tell the story of a murder that took place years before.
Holmes Kitan is a classic-style mystery adventure set in 19th-century London.
You take the role of Holmes and investigate a murder at the Manning estate on the outskirts of London.
On a stormy night, the guests gathered at the manor find themselves discussing a metal tube containing a closely guarded secret.
Later that night, Lord Manning is found murdered in his own bedroom.
Who was where, and at what time?
The time of the murder, the movements of each person in the house, and the evidence left at the scene all matter.
Search the manor for clues, examine the evidence, and compare the accounts of those present as you reconstruct what happened that night.
Everything you discover is recorded in the Character File, Evidence File, and Timeline.
During the deduction sequences, you must use the evidence and facts you have gathered to unravel the mystery of the alibi and piece together the truth of the case yourself.
This is not a mystery where you simply sit back and watch Holmes explain the answer.
Investigate the scene. Find the evidence. Think through the possibilities. Choose your conclusions.
The investigation itself is the game.
A murder in a manor cut off by the rain.
A missing metal tube.
And an alibi standing between you and the killer.
Become Holmes, and solve the case with nothing but evidence and logic.
