Bug Juice to GigawattsBug Juice to Gigawatts

Bug Juice to Gigawatts is a miniature sci-fi strategy game about building an alien industrial outpost, generating absurd amounts of power, and carrying that technology into a living world of insects that would rather be left alone.

Build production chains. Expand your power grid. Develop new technologies. Then leave the safety of your outpost and establish a foothold deep inside hostile insect territory.

The further you push, the more the world pushes back.

FROM BUG JUICE TO GIGAWATTS

Start with basic resources and improvised machinery.

Extract materials, process them through production chains, connect machines with transport networks and gradually expand your energy infrastructure.

New resources unlock new possibilities, new buildings and new technologies. What begins as a tiny survival operation can grow into an increasingly complex industrial system capable of producing enormous amounts of power.

Your outpost is the foundation of everything you do beyond it.

THIS ISN'T JUST TOWER DEFENSE. IT'S TOWER OFFENSE.

You are not waiting for the insects to attack your home.

You enter their territory.

Expeditions take you into active insect habitats where creatures move through the environment, travel between nests and food sources, and react to disturbances around them.

Establish your position, bring your power into the area and build defenses around it. The more pressure you put on a colony, the stronger its response can become.

What begins as a small confrontation may grow into a massive swarm.

BUILD THE NETWORK

Your defenses are connected through an energy network.

Power flows through linked nodes and can be stored, redirected and modified before reaching your weapons. Different components and technologies give you new ways to shape how that network behaves.

The system is designed around experimentation rather than simply replacing one tower with a stronger version of the same thing.

As your technology develops, so do the possibilities available to you.

DISTURB A LIVING INSECT WORLD

The insects are not simply enemies waiting at a spawn point.

They inhabit the environment before you arrive.

Some travel between nests and food sources. Others wander through their territory. Your actions can trigger local incidents, increase pressure on a colony and eventually provoke organized swarms.

Understanding when to interfere — and when to leave something alone — is part of every expedition.

PUSH DEEPER

Expeditions are where exploration, combat and progression meet.

Search hostile regions for discoveries, valuable resources and new opportunities. Establish defenses, survive the consequences of your actions and decide how far you are willing to push before returning home.

Greater risk can lead to greater rewards, but staying longer also gives the local colonies more time to respond.

Every expedition contributes to your long-term progress.

ADAPT THROUGH TECHNOLOGY

Discover new ideas in the world and turn them into technology through a persistent tech tree.

Unlock new machines, new systems and new ways to approach both production and combat.

Progress is not only about increasing damage or production numbers. New technology expands the set of problems you can solve — and the tools you can solve them with.

You are learning how to survive in this world.

The insects are learning too.
