Two armies have landed on the same island, and only one is staying - if either of them lasts that long. The Starscar's corruption spreads while they fight, and it does not care whose flag is flying. Break the enemy's base before they break yours, and before the Starscar wipes you both out.
Starscar is a single-player hybrid of isometric action-RPG and real-time strategy. You fight on the ground as your hero, in the middle of the melee. You also run the war behind it: build the base, raise the army, and decide where the front line goes next.
Every campaign generates a new island. There is no three-lane skeleton laid out in advance. Hills, rivers and chokepoints fall where they may, and fighting corridors form wherever your buildings, the enemy, and the resources between them push traffic. Plant a stronghold or tower somewhere new and you have opened a new front.
No selecting units. No micromanagement. Your army acts on its own. You decide how it fights and where your kingdom grows, then lead the charge sword in hand.
When the Starscar came down, its debris rained across the island, crushing homes under wreckage and twisting everything living near it. Survivors and wildlife alike changed. In the worst-saturated ground, the dead do not stay buried. Find out what the Starscar is and master it to gain an edge in the war.
Monster camps and dungeons are scattered across the island - optional runs for experience, gear and resources. They get harder the further you range from home ground, and the most dangerous of them guard the spoils that can turn the war.
Your workers gather wood, stone and iron. Your barracks churn out soldiers. Your towers hold every inch you take. Recruit champions to fight at your side, then push until the enemy's base falls.
