PurrplexPurrplex

Purrplex is a cozy puzzle game about you and a curious cat, wandering a sun-warmed world of papyrus, pyramids, and golden sands. Each puzzle is a small board — gentle logic, just a few minutes to untangle. Make a wrong move? No problem — no punishing fail states, no lost progress. Just gentle retries. Solve puzzles to earn ancient artifacts. Watch your collection grow into a charming little museum. Outfit your sacred cat in new looks — today a panda, tomorrow a pharaoh. No ads. No timers. No microtransactions. Just you, your cat, and a world of small wonders waiting to be untangled.

A sacred cat slept for a thousand years and woke to a changed world. Their army of cat soldiers is scattered across the sands, and their treasures are sealed inside puzzle after puzzle. They hand you a shovel — and with every puzzle you solve, more soldiers come home, while every relic you collect brings back a little piece of a world they remember.

HOW TO PLAY
Dig up the cats hiding on the board. That's the whole game. Three rules, and you're in.
THE THREE RULES: ① Each color region hides exactly one cat. The board shows several colors — each color needs exactly one cat dug up somewhere on the board. ② One per row, one per column. No two cats share a row or a column. ③ Cats need their space. No cat can sit in any of the 8 cells around another cat — not even diagonally.
A FEW TIPS FOR FIRST-TIMERS: • Start with the smallest colors. The smaller the color area, the fewer options you have. • Look for "forced digs" — if a row has only one safe square left, that's where the cat is. • Once a color is solved, mentally remove it and focus on the rest. • Every puzzle has exactly one solution. If you think you found it, you probably did.
WHEN YOU MAKE A MISTAKE: • Each level gives you three little shovels. • Dig in the wrong spot and you lose one. • Lose all three and the level simply starts over. • No progress lost. No frustration. Just a gentle do-over.
