Welcome to RPM: Next
Step into the driver’s seat and prepare for the most intense mobile street racing experience. This is more than just a race; it’s a war for the asphalt. In this tech demo, get ready to experience the core thrill of high-speed domination as you battle to take over the city streets from rival gangs.
The Story
The city streets are lawless, controlled by ruthless gangs who answer to no one. It’s up to you to change that. Starting from the bottom, you must work your way through the ranks, challenge the reigning champions, and clear the streets one race at a time. Your goal? Conquer every district and become the undisputed King of the Streets.
Core Gameplay (Tech Demo): This initial release focuses on the raw, unfiltered mechanics that define RPM: Next.
World-City Conquest: Progress through a dynamic city map. Each district is a new battleground held by a different gang. Win races to chip away at their territory and challenge their boss for total control.
Gearhead Garage: Start your journey with a selection of iconic vehicles. Upgrade engines, improve nitrous, tune your vehicle, and tweak your gearbox to create the ultimate machine. Every upgrade is visible in your performance on the track.
Perfect Shift Mechanics: Master the art of the drag race. Time your gear shifts perfectly to hit the optimal RPM range and blast past your opponents. Miss a shift, and you’ll be eating their dust.
Visceral Racing: Feel the rumble of the engine and the scream of the tires with high-octane sound design and visual effects designed to make every race feel like a life-or-death battle.
Gang Showdowns: Face off against unique gang leaders with distinct driving styles. Learn their patterns, counter their strategies, and send them packing to add their turf to your empire.
