From handline to shrimp trawler

Tiny Trawler is a relaxing fishing game set among the islands and fjords of the Norwegian coast. You start with nothing but a handline at the end of a wooden dock. Sell your catch at the harbour shed, save up for better gear, and build a fleet of six boats – from a rowing dinghy to a full-size shrimp trawler.

Fish the way coastal fishermen do

Handline and rods – cast from the dock or the boat and reel in when it bites.
Longlines and gillnets – set them out, let them soak, and come back to haul them in.
Jigging machine – let it fish for you while you steer, or set it to catch and release.
Trawl – tow a trawl behind the shrimp trawler over the deep banks.
Echo sounder – read the depth and spot fish below the boat.

55 species to discover

Every species lives at its own depth and in its own waters. Cod grow bigger the further north you go, some fish are only found in certain waters, and harbour rumours tell you where to look. Record your catches in the Fish Book, hunt for trophy fish – and maybe land a legendary 30 kg "coffee cod".

A living coast

A full day-night cycle with golden sunsets, blue hours and starry nights.
Rain showers and drifting fog that rolls in thicker in the north.
Lanterns along the docks and island paths, and the warm glow of your boat's lights at sea.
Harbours on every large island, each paying extra for different fish.

Build your fishing business

Six boats, each with upgradeable cargo holds.
Hire skippers to fish with your smaller boats while you're out on your own – you can see them on the map, and they come home with the catch in the evening.
Invest in cranes, ice plants and more to grow your operation.

Explore the islands

Go ashore and follow the paths. There are hidden tarns with freshwater fish, old chests, cairns with a view – and a message in a bottle pointing to a lost treasure.
