Walk with mahjong. Build with mahjong. Beat bosses at real mahjong.
On the Four Winds Isles, every dispute is settled at the mahjong table: arguments, inheritances, even marriage proposals. It only counts if you win.
But lately the rules have broken. Red Dragons count as any tile. Drawing a Green Dragon makes coins appear out of nowhere. Tile faces are going blank. A young sparrow apprentice sets off with a patchwork tile bag to patch the four loopholes and reinforce the seal at the Sealed Abyss.
And along the way, people keep mentioning "the hand"...
Flip a tile, walk a path
- Each turn, draw three face-down guide tiles. Flip one and move that many spaces.
- Chosen tiles fill your Sparrow Path. Make a run, a triplet or a flush with three tiles to earn coins, wind and talismans.
- Events, shops, tea houses, chests, traps and elites line the road. At every fork, choose: short and risky, or long and safe?
Your tile bag is your deck
- Buy tiles at the shop; remove or gild them at the tea house. What's in the bag decides how far you move and which sets you can make.
- Gold tiles add fan both on the map and at the table. Thinner bags are easier to control, and you'll need duplicates to form triplets.
Every boss is a real game of mahjong
- Full 13-tile mahjong with chi, pon, kan, self-draw and discard wins, plus 20+ scoring patterns from a basic win up to Thirteen Orphans.
- Each of the four bosses has claimed a rule-breaking loophole: wild Red Dragons, coins from Green Dragons, wild White Dragons, and hands that lose their textures.
- Coins are your life. You spend them in shops and pay them when you lose a hand. Run out and your journey ends.
Stacking relics, a different run every time
- 27 relics. Each follows one simple rule that works the same on the map and at the table, and they combine into powerful synergies.
- 6 travelers with different starting coins and tile bags. Which relic suits whom? That's for you to discover.
- 9 single-use talismans to swap tiles, peek at hands, add fan or save your run.
And more
- 5 mahjong mini-games: Memory, Shanghai Solitaire, Tile Link, Wait Puzzles and Higher or Lower.
- Endless Tables: climb floor after floor of elites and see how far your build can go.
- Five acts: spring blossoms, a lantern-lit harbor, an autumn desert, a snowy palace and an infernal black lake.
- A goofy story with an ending you won't see coming.
New to mahjong? The game includes a rules guide and a compendium, and every scoring pattern is listed when a hand is won.
