Roll In is a turn-based tactics roguelike where your aircraft can never stop moving. Fly straight to gain momentum, spend it on devastating attacks and manoeuvres, and keep your armoured train in one piece as you fight deeper into machine-held territory.
The machines drove us off the old continent. Now a handful of pilots and one armoured train are slipping back across the water to find where it all comes from.
Aircraft tactics with perfect information
See it coming – every enemy shows exactly where and how hard it will strike.
Never stand still – planes must move every turn, so you're always flying one turn ahead.
Gain momentum – fly straight to gain it, then spend it on heavy attacks and manoeuvres.
Full undo – rewind anything this turn until the attack run is perfect.
Every weapon has a shape – strafing runs, cones, bombs, flak and rails each hit the board their own way.
Protect the train
The train is your base and your only way forward. It carries its damage from stop to stop, and if it falls, the run is over.
Use the ground: Mountains break an enemy's lock-on. Water stops their advance, and anything shoved into it sinks, armour and all.
Each run structure
Three acts across a branching rail network, each ending in a boss.
Select missions based on difficulty, type and rewards
Pilots earn ranks and learn manoeuvres. They start as rookies and end as aces, if you keep them alive.
Build each aircraft from weapons, hulls, engines and items, and grow every weapon along its own upgrade tree.
Every stop is a trade-off: repair, upgrade or scrap. You can't afford it all.
Paint your squadron – every hull keeps its own livery: camo patterns, colours, and markings you customize yourself
