Build a stronghold and watch your armies swarm forward. Place troop spawners and defensive towers, choose building upgrades, and battle across three lanes. Enormous armies clash across a medieval tapestry as you push towards the enemy castle.
READ THE ENEMY, THEN COUNTER
Your spawners keep fresh troops flowing to the frontlines. Cut through dense hordes with splash damage, bring down fliers with anti-air or send siege engines to break a tower line. A well-chosen counter can turn a desperate defence into your next big push.
TAKE GROUND AND MAKE IT YOURS
Reinforce a buckling lane or push one the enemy has neglected. Capture forward territory to build closer to their castle, but lose your buildings and the enemy can take that ground back. Where you spend matters as much as what you build.
5 FACTIONS, 5 PLAYSTYLES
Dragon Crown: Rally armoured knights, heavy siege and dragons, buffed by massive war horns.
Hedge Coven: Layer curses on enemies, steal buffs, raise shadow copies of the dead and summon stone gargoyles.
Goblin Freeholds: Overwhelm with sheer numbers, ogres and siege engines maintained by tinkerers.
Wildwood Court: Entangle enemies and sustain growing woodland critters, while ancient trees sprout smaller trees.
Mountain Abbey: Crush armies with monks and colossal stone guardians, and send assassins into enemy backlines.
SUMMON A BOSS
Build over ancient foundations to summon a boss that flattens armies and cracks stalemates wide open. Time its arrival to rescue a buckling front or lead the final push.
The sacrifices used to summon the boss won’t survive. With any luck, neither will the opposing army.
