Darkness has swallowed the world. Somewhere at the end of Highway 26, the military has established a shelter. Everyone you meet is heading there too. They’ll ask you for a ride and offer you something that’s hard to refuse.
Scientists whisper about the “infected” - creatures that only pretend to be human.

■ ▪ IDENTIFY THE INFECTED ▪ ■
Run different checks and look for signs of infection - before letting someone into your car or after they’re already sitting behind you. Learn what to look for, and you might be able to keep the wrong people out. But if you make a mistake... pretend you didn’t notice. You might still have time to reach for the revolver.

■ ▪ DARKNESS ▪ ■
Keep an eye on the lights inside your car. Lights went out? Heard something behind you? Looks like someone just got killed. Congratulations. One of them is already inside.

■ ▪ MAKE IT TO THE SHELTER ALIVE ▪ ■
If you’re left alone, you’ll die. If you’re left with an infected passenger, you’ll die. If you run out of gas, you’ll die.

And if you survive the trip but bring an infected into the shelter, you’ll die too. So chances are, you’re going to die anyway. Might as well have some fun before the end, right?

■ ▪ EVERY RUN IS DIFFERENT ▪ ■
No two trips are the same. Whoever was infected last run might not even show up this time. Almost everything is randomized. Luck makes a terrible travel companion.

■ ▪ PARANOIA ▪ ■
Your passengers are sitting right behind you. Turn around. Take a look.

Just remember - you’ll have to stop the car first.
