The NERA mining base shut down overnight after an incident no one talks about. No survivors reported. No official explanation. And among the missing: Emma, your wife, a scientist at the site.
You have only one thing on your mind: finding her. So you slip onto the planet in secret. Ahead lie deserted facilities and the sealed entrance to the complex. Your investigation begins where communications fell silent.
Digging NERA is a first-person sci-fi adventure blending drilling, exploration and mystery. Dig your way forward, upgrade your equipment and bring the facilities back to life to descend ever deeper.
Your drill is your best tool. Cut tunnels through the rock, shape your passages and dig around ore veins to free the minerals before collecting them.
Iron, copper, aluminium, titanium and rare ores: every haul funds your progress. Every descent pushes you a little further… as long as you manage the space in your bag wisely.
Bring your cargo back to the trading terminals, then reinvest your credits in your equipment.
Increase your drilling power, beam range and digging diameter. Expand your bag, improve your lighting and prepare for your next expeditions.
From your first cleared passage to major excavations, every upgrade changes how you explore the depths of NERA.
Nothing here works as it once did. It is up to you to restore power, find ways in and restart the systems to move forward.
Abandoned workshops, locked doors, idle lifts: keep your eyes open and search the site for information left behind by the crews. Every facility you reactivate could open up a new sector… and raise new questions.
In the darkness of the tunnels, your drill cannot do everything.
Launch the N-ORB probe to locate ores hidden in the rock. Attach lamps to structures to light your work areas and mark your route. Use temporary boosts to move faster or push your drill beyond its limits.
Prepare your equipment and adapt as you venture deeper into the complex.
The crews of NERA left behind tablets, reports and messages. Find these accounts to piece together what happened before the site shut down.
Your field tablet gathers everything you discover and accompanies you throughout your journey. Tunnel by tunnel, fragments of the workers' daily lives reveal a story far darker than the official account.
What was Emma working on in the deepest levels? What really happened on NERA?
