CULET is a clicker about one thing: breaking something beautiful.
A faceted crystal monolith turns slowly in the dark. Strike it, and a crack runs out from where you hit. Strike again and the cracks branch, join and glow from inside the stone. Shards break away. Light leaks through the fractures. When the crystal's integrity runs out, it shatters in a burst of glowing fragments, and the payout is yours to spend on upgrades while the next monolith rises.
How it plays
- Every strike shows. Cracks grow from the exact point you hit; the network spreads, brightens and pulses as the crystal weakens.
- The run ends. Each monolith is a short run with a beginning, a breaking point and a payout. No waiting on timers, no offline earnings: you are always playing.
- Upgrades that change how you break. Force hits harder. Draw gathers shards for you. Yield multiplies every payout. Resonance adds critical strikes and strikes on its own. Fault Line rewards following the cracks. Lens makes critical zones appear more often.
- Aim, don't just click. Critical zones flare up on some crystals. Find one and strike it for a PERFECT hit. Strikes that land on a crack line hit harder once you own Fault Line.
- Hold to strike, buy in bulk. Hold the mouse button to keep striking; Shift and Ctrl buy ten or as many as you can afford; keys 1-6 buy without leaving the crystal.
Twelve crystals
Amethyst, Verdite, Carnelian, Azurite, Opaline, Adamant, Peridot, Rhodolite, Paraiba, Heliodor, Alexandrite and Diamond, each with its own colors, shape and light. The first time a new crystal appears, it gathers out of the dark before it rises. Alexandrite turns from green to raspberry as it turns; Diamond is the last and the coldest.
A finite game
Reaching Diamond takes about 10 hours. Your progress is saved automatically, a Statistics screen keeps your records, and New Game is there when you want to start the ladder again.
