Dejinochi is a tiny virtual pet that lives right on your desktop.
Hatch an egg and see who’s inside. Feed your new friend, play with them, clean up their mess, look after them when they’re sick, and check in every now and then while you work, study, or get on with your day.
The way you care for your Dejinochi shapes how they grow. Different routines can lead to different creatures. Some are adorable, some strange, and some you might not expect at all.
And they don’t stay little forever.
Eventually, every pet grows up and moves out, leaving behind a place in your album. Then it’s time to hatch another egg and meet someone new. You might even spot an old friend coming back to visit from time to time.
Along the way, you can discover new pets, unlock different shells, collect stickers, and slowly fill out your collection.
Dejinochi is designed to keep you company without constantly asking for your attention. Look after your pet for a minute, leave them happily pottering around on your desktop, and come back when you feel like it.
FEATURES
Raise your own little pet
Hatch an egg and look after whoever comes out. Feed them, play together, give them medicine when they’re sick, and clean up the occasional mess.
Discover different pets
How you raise your Dejinochi affects what they grow into. Try caring for them in different ways and see who you meet.
Watch them grow up
Your pets won’t stay with you forever. Once they’re all grown up, they’ll move out and join your album. You may still see them dropping by for a visit.
Unlock new shells
Collect different shells for your Dejinochi and swap between them whenever you fancy a new look.
Decorate with stickers
Find stickers as you play, stick them wherever you like, and turn your shell into something uniquely yours.
Add your own mods
Dejinochi is built from the ground up with modding in mind. Add your own species, stickers, shells, or completely customise your gameplay experience.
Fill your album
Keep a record of every pet you’ve raised and gradually build up a collection of all the creatures you’ve met.
A little friend on your desktop
Your Dejinochi hangs out while you’re doing other things. You don’t need to babysit them all day. Pop in every so often, make sure they’re doing okay, and carry on with whatever you were doing.
