Everyone already knows how to stack blocks. OVERSTACK is about what you stack them with.
Clear lines, get paid. Between stages you spend that money on new pieces and on buffs that rewrite how scoring works. Then you find out whether the thing you built survives a board that has started fighting back.
THE PIECES ARE THE CONTENT
You start with the seven shapes everybody knows. The shop sells 52 more, with the same shapes, made out of things that do not behave.
Glass — fragile. Hard-drop onto it and it shatters, and your piece falls through the hole it just made.
Bomb — detonates on landing and destroys everything around it, itself included. Clears no lines. Makes room.
Sand — comes apart on landing. Every block falls to the bottom of its own column, and keeps falling whenever a clear opens space underneath.
Gold — every gold block cleared in a line pays you $1.
Magnet — drags down every column it touches and closes every hole in them.
Slime — oozes sideways into the empty cells next to it, deepest first.
Glazier — turns the blocks underneath it into glass, ready for the next hard drop.
Mirror — rotates through its own orientations and its mirror twin's. One piece covers L and J, or S and Z.
59 pieces in all. Everything you buy stays in your collection for the next run.
EIGHT SLOTS. FIFTY-NINE BUFFS.
They do not politely add up. They multiply, they feed each other, and the good ones only pay if you change how you play:
Straight Drop — lines you clear without rotating the piece score double.
Glass Fang — an extra multiplier for every 8 glass blocks you smash this run.
Interest Rate — the bank pays you for the money you don't spend.
Blue Print — copies whatever buff you parked to its right.
Finding the two that turn each other into an engine, that's the game. Four rarities, and the shop rerolls if you can afford it.
EVERY FIVE STAGES, A RULE CHANGES
Ten bosses. Each one takes away something different, so no two fights are the same fight:
...and three more waiting further down.
HOW FAR DOWN DOES IT GO
50 stages across six acts.
Endless mode — no targets, no ceiling. You start broke and every line you clear is the only income you get.
36 achievements, Steam Cloud saves, and a run that picks up exactly where you left it.
English, Português (Brasil) and 简体中文.
How far can you OVERSTACK?
