The Store Where the Lights Never Go Out

Late at night, the lights at Star Ring Convenience Store are always on.

Something seems a little off about every customer who walks in. Why do the shelves always need restocking? Why is each store rule stranger than the last? And the manager who wrote them — why has no one ever seen her face? New Weird meets retro sci-fi, and the strangest thing here is how normal everything looks.

Ordinary, Yet Uncanny

Beneath the stylized toon shading, students, clerks, and office workers all have perfectly ordinary faces — yet they're camping indoors, or showing up at the register in a deer skull. Warm ad lightboxes glow against the store's cool tones, and after dark the mood quietly shifts. The shelf ads and digital screens hide a truth you haven't pieced together yet.

Your Deductions Shape the Next Loop

Connect clues in your Mind Palace, and your hypotheses instantly become reality.

No question has only one answer, and each loop lets you carry just one possibility forward. Within a loop, choices exclude each other; across loops, they stack. How you arrange the store's state decides what it finally becomes.
