Shiny Gen: AI Game MakerShiny Gen: AI Game Maker

Shiny Gen turns a sentence into a game you can play.

Describe the game you want and the AI writes it, builds the world and hands you something playable in minutes. Then play it, change it with another sentence, and share it with a link. Between ideas, browse a feed of original games running on the Godot game engine, every one playable instantly.

Make

Tell the AI what you want. A fishing game on a misty lake. A tower defense with slimes. A platformer where gravity flips. It writes the code, builds the world and hands you something playable in minutes. Change anything with another sentence, or open the code and edit it yourself. No engine to learn, nothing else to install.

Create the art

Generate sprites, characters and animation frames from a prompt. Sculpt and paint 3D models in the built in editor. Compose music and sound effects to match. Everything you make lands in your own library, ready to drop into any game.

Remix

Every game in the feed can be remixed. Give Shiny Fighter your own roster. Add chickens to Shiny Sword Adventure. Your copy is yours to keep and to share.

Share

Every game you make gets a link. Send it to a friend and they play it in the app or in any browser.

Play together

Multiplayer is built in. If you make a game, adding multiplayer to it costs nothing. If you play, joining a room is free too: open a game that supports it, choose Multiplayer, and share the room with your friends.

Play

Over thirty original games and scenes are waiting on day one, and the feed keeps growing.

• Shiny Match: line up gems in a crystal cavern and chain the combos.

• Shiny Fighter: ten fighters, five floating arenas, real frame data.

• Shiny Sword Adventure 2: take up Fenwick's old sword and free the three Wardens of water, wood and stone.

• Shiny Monster Catcher: choose a starter and catch original monsters across Halcyon.

• Shiny Skyline: stack a tower one floor at a time, on a single input.

• Shiny Rapids: paddle a raft down a river that never ends.

• Shiny Pinball, Shiny Orbit, Shiny Tether, Shiny Shepherd, Shiny Platformer, Shiny Swarm, Shiny Crosser, Shiny Tribes, Shiny Train, Shiny Dive, Shiny Tilt Ball, Shiny Sail Hangout, Shiny Study, and quiet scenes like Shiny Waterfall and Shiny Night for when you just want to watch the water move.

On Steam Deck

Shiny Gen is a native Linux build, and it was checked on Deck hardware rather than assumed: the layout is full bleed at the Deck's own 1280x800, and touch, trackpad and gamepad all reach the interface.

How the AI works, plainly

Shiny Gen calls third party AI services to generate code, images, animation, music and 3D models from what you type. Generation happens live, at your request, and it needs a free Shiny Gen account and an internet connection. Games other people make are not published into the feed: the feed is ours, and anything you build stays yours until you choose to share its link.

Free to play

Playing is free, and so is multiplayer. AI generation uses gems: you get 50 when you sign up, and you can buy more whenever you want to build more.

A free Shiny Gen account is required to generate and to save. Your games are saved to that account, so you can pick up where you left off on any device.
