AXE DESCENTAXE DESCENT

Roguelite × Turn-Based Command RPG

Over 600 skills. Countless combinations. A different challenge every run.

Build your own strategy from randomly presented skills and equipment.

Chain skills together, combine them with equipment, and decide how to spend your limited resources.

What you get may be random—but how you use it is up to you.

A roguelite turn-based command RPG packed with countless choices and immense freedom.

■ Build Your Deck with Over 600 Skills

There are over 600 skills to discover.

Defeat enemies and choose one skill from a random selection to add to your deck.

The skills you find will differ every run.

Make the most of what you find, or strengthen the strategy you've already built.

Shape your deck through every choice and fight your way to the deepest reaches of the Rift.

■ Chain Skills Together in Strategic Turn-Based Battles

In battle, skills from your deck are assigned to three stages called Chains.

Chain 1 → Chain 2 → Chain 3

Each turn, skills move to the next Chain. After passing through Chain 3, they go to the discard pile.

When your draw pile is empty, the discard pile is shuffled back into it.

Chain three skills together and activate them in succession.

As your available skills constantly change, the key is figuring out what you can do with the combinations you have right now—and finding the best way to connect them.

How you build your deck matters. So does how you chain the skills that come your way.

Both your build and your decisions in the moment can dramatically change the course of battle.

You can also hold Quick Skills separately from the normal Chain system.

Quick Skills can be activated without consuming a turn, opening up even more possibilities when combined with your other skills.

■ Weapon × Will × Potion

In addition to improving your base stats by leveling up, you can equip three types of equipment: Weapons, Wills, and Potions.

Combining skills and equipment can create a wide variety of powerful synergies.

Each type of equipment can be upgraded at its own dedicated Facility.

But you won't always have enough resources to upgrade everything to its fullest potential.

Decide where to invest your limited resources and shape a build that complements your current deck.

■ Conquer the Ever-Changing Rift

The Rift is the dungeon at the heart of the game, where a variety of elements change with every run.

Skills obtained from enemies.

Equipment found in treasure chests.

NPCs encountered along the way.

Facilities available during your journey.

You never know exactly what you'll find, and every choice can lead your build in a new direction.

Conquering Rifts rewards you with special items, unlocking new features and new stages to challenge.

■ Build Freely at the Preparation Base

Before entering the Rift, the Preparation Base lets you freely customize various elements, including your starting deck and equipment.

Do you build around a specific strategy from the beginning?

Or create a versatile foundation and adapt to whatever you find along the way?

Combine careful preparation with the unpredictable choices of each run to forge your path forward.

■ Random Encounters and Companions

A variety of NPC encounters await you within the Rift.

Battles, trades, events—and sometimes, the opportunity to recruit an NPC as a Companion.

The abilities of your Companions are also randomized.

Every encounter has the potential to change the course of your run.

■ Modify the Skills Themselves

As you progress through the game, you'll unlock Skill Modification.

Various effects found during your journey can be added directly to skills in your deck.

Even the same skill can perform differently depending on the effects you add.

Instead of simply building a deck, you can reshape the skills within it to fit your strategy.

■ Design Your Own Custom Skills

Progress even further to unlock Custom Skills, allowing you to freely design the performance of a skill itself.

Customize basic properties such as power and number of attacks, then add special effects that trigger when the skill is activated.

The activation cost is calculated in detail based on the effects and values you choose, meaning more powerful effects require a greater cost.

Create a single devastating strike.

Combine multiple effects.

Don't just choose from existing skills—create the skill you need yourself.

The further you progress, the more possibilities open up for building your own unique playstyle.

■ Face Powerful Large Enemies

The Rift is home to powerful Large Enemies that far surpass ordinary foes.

Large Enemies have destructible parts. Target and destroy them to weaken your opponent.

Which part should you destroy first?

Should you focus your attacks on the main body instead?

The right decision depends on the build you've created.

Over 600 skills, equipment, Companions, Skill Modification, and Custom Skills.

In an ever-changing environment,

how will you combine what you find—and how will you fight?

Venture to the deepest reaches of the Rift and discover your own way to conquer it.
