In 1980s Oakvalley, a young boy named Andrew returns home to continue his studies in peace. Your decisions are you. Three different story branches that completely changing the whole game: visual style, music, atmosphere, story events, your character and world's fate.

Oakvalley is a town of hidden chronicles. Behind the daily routines lies something eerie: gazes that linger too long, movements of unnatural grace, and flickering silhouettes. Beneath the mortal world lies an otherworldly domain, and its denizens are ready to break through.

Explore the world and venture into other planes, uncover hidden lore, document unusual finds, and maintain your journal.

Snow yields to the thaw, day surrenders to night, and crimson sunsets dye the woodlands. Here, time is no mere tally of hours upon a clock. It breathes, it bides, and it remembers.

Every sound here echoes that memory. The soundtrack becomes a song of reflections, where each melody captures the area's spirit or a character's raw emotion. Even the track titles speak to you, written directly from the protagonist's perspective.

Because there is more to the game than fighting, it’ll cover much more than simple hack-and-slash combat here. In addition to the basic mechanics of dodge dashes and default attacks, there are rules for countering specific enemy archetypes, special ways to attack and defend, damage-over-time effects, timings, and more.

Make your choices, decide which of over 20 distinct inner voices dominates your character's thoughts and forge a unique combat style tailored to your evolving skills in top-down battles.

Every cutscene serves a vital narrative purpose—conveying emotion, enriching the lore, and unearthing hidden secrets to seamlessly guide you deeper into the mystery.

Inspired by Twin Peaks, Stranger Things, The X-Files, Legends of the Galactic Heroes and Dune, ANOTHER MEDIUM explores the duality of human nature, control, bonds, the cyclical nature of history, downfall, personal choice, coming-of-age, community, trauma and memory.

Your inventory is a school backpack—and it talks. You must retrieve it before leaving the first area. In this world you never know if it's just your imagination or a part of the supernatural.

An untitled cartridge might expose you to forbidden horrors, and a single tabletop session can warp reality itself. These aren't just mini-games—they are thresholds between worlds where you can either catch your breath, or step into the abyss.
